And Now I'm Here (Simmar itt vagyok)| 16mins
Director: Attila Moharos | Producer: Gábor Nagy
Focus Years: 1999 | Country: Hungary
Synopsis:
Levente Fülöp lives in Atyha, although he’s from Parajd. He’s fifteen years old but his face looks older than his age. He went to school for only two years. Atyha is in Transylvania, just like Parajd. Levente became a child servant. â€Uncle János said: "I talked to your father. You can come!", and I was happy and now I’m here†– says the boy. They sent him to serve in Atyha three years ago. His parents are alcoholics, his sibblings are in an orphanage but he’s â€freeâ€. And it’s better at Uncle János’ than the other place where he served at. He had to shepherd the flock. The peasant work is habitually eternal, the terrestrial motions are pure and the region is immovably fascinating. And time stood still or maybe turned back in our hero’s life. He became a child servant at the turn of the millennium in Europe.
