Time is Art: Synchronicity and the Collective Dream| 24mins
Director: Joel Mejia | Producer: Katy Walker
Focus Years: 2013 | Country: United States
Synopsis:
The film follows a New York City-based writer as she explores the nature of the mysterious experiences leading her along a path of supernatural and spiritual discovery. A staunch materialist who doesn’t believe in anything that can’t be proven scientifically, Jennifer has her mind blown open when her aunt passes away in front of her, triggering a mystical experience that initiates a period of near-constant synchronicity. This causes her to question the nature of reality and her own sanity. With the help of her friends she learns to open up to the magic behind the “syncs†and explore the ancient myths, music, art and pop culture that are behind her perplexing yet profoundly synchronistic experiences.
