I Am in Jerusalem| 35mins
Director: Munajridi | Producer: Jaber Fouad
Focus Years: 2007 | Country: Israel
Synopsis:
The film observes the reality and the details of life in Jerusalem after 40 years of occupation, through the eyes of an eleven-year-old boy called Abdullah seeing the occupied city for the first time in his life. Through his journey in Jerusalem, Abdullah meets different kinds of people of different religions and ages, and has spontaneous conversations with them. Each one of them naturally expresses his thoughts about Jerusalem, and most of them are not aware of the fact that there is a camera shooting. The camera catches Abdullah's interactions with everything that surrounds him. The film exposes Jerusalem in a new perspective; through the eyes of ordinary people, without a focus on politics.
