The Bug River Podlaski Breakthrough| 30mins
Director: Artur Tabor | Producer: The Bug River Landscape Park
Focus Years: 2000 | Country: Poland
Subject Tags: ecology, education, environment, europe, poland, spiritual awareness
Quality Tags: Optimistic, Slow, Activating, Harmonizing
Synopsis:
The Bug River is the last undeveloped among large Polish rivers. Meandering among small hills, meadows and forests, the river has driven many biological processes and witnessed cultural changes. In Western Europe, big rivers like this one have mostly been tamed - embanked, and made straight. However, Bug has remained wild. The value of a landscape park is not only in the spectacular nature, but also in people living here. People here are accustomed to living in harmony with nature.
