A father-and-son story. On his 28th birthday, Marcel Ehrlich (Ehrlich means honest in German) confronts his father about his childhood as a disabled son of a drunken father. Despite –or because of?- his difficult start in life, Marcel has a sharp mind and a very good use of language. He investigates his life up until now and finds: his real handicap is his an emotional one. He longs for lasting relationships but he was never taught one. Marcel lives an independent life, choosing his own help and caretakers.
