Synopsis:
"Is there some kind of medicine that helps me get a better grip on the chaos in my life?" HYPER (DRUK) is a 30 minute documentary on the subject of ADHD. Cabaret artist, Jochanan Westra, "doesn't live life to the fullest." Maybe there's something wrong with him, "something like ADHD"? Jochanan starts a tragi-comical quest for the sense and nonsense associated with this disorder and mainly for the way in which he himself wants to deal with it. Jochanan's quest is alternately portrayed by talks with his psychiatrist, by a parody on this quest during rehearsals for his new one-man show, and by scenes from his 'normal' life. Quest, theater-rehearsals, and daily life finally meet, and Jochanan discovers his own original solution for being 'hyper'.
