Synopsis:
Madrid airport, 2009 September 23rd:
Fabrizio, an Italian sculptor and writer, is waiting for the connecting flight to Bogota. He must go to Juan Rey, district of the Colombia capital. 15 years ago there, an Italian priest founded a school that now hosts more than 1000 children.
Fabrizio took this trip halfway around the world not for money and nor for fame, but probably to escape and get relieved from the issues and events that affect him in Italy now.
St. Richard Center Pampuri, 2009 September 25th:
The impact of the new environment is hard and almost unbelievable: a wire fence barbed protects the city center from the danger that can be felt everywhere around; armed guards monitor and control the entrances. Safety is a very valuable asset.
Fabrizio works with children, relying on his experience and capabilities. Soon he realizes that all this effort will not be enough.
