'Kathmandu Odyssey' is a poetic journey of a buffalo-rider-turned-professor Abhi Subedi in Kathmandu. Professor Sudedi comes to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, in the sixties. Incidentally, this was the time of many creative minds thronging Kathmandu. He meets poets and artists from Nepal alongside developing his camaraderie with the hippies. The film depicts Professor Subedi's poetic journey hitherto.
