Synopsis:
Film narrated from the standpoint of Mary Grace Sucksdorff, which recreates her adventure in the swamp next to the acclaimed filmmaker and Swedish naturalist Arne Sucksdorff (1917-2001), during the production of a photo book and the series of reports for Swedish television – “World Apartâ€. Mary, once viewed as the "India laced by a Viking," has her story of love and struggle recognized. In “Grace’s Praise" reveals both the couple's daily life in pioneer camp and the fight against the ravages of nature, which claimed death threats and family disintegration. Bright scenes of "cinematic stage" of Arne is also raised to show the world of a man torn between Brazil and Sweden and the requirement of the artist on the urgency of the ecologist.
