In 2008, the Deshpandes, a doctor couple in Bangalore, lost their son Paurav to a drug overdose. Through a personal account of the family’s battle with Paurav’s addiction, we attempt to understand the vice-like grip of drugs, and look at the current pressures that push young people to consume lethal substances.
