Synopsis:
This film talks about the memories that are kept and those that are forgotten. When my grandmother died, I realized that her personal history would also die if I didn't record whatever was left of her memory. I decided to travel to the village in the south of Spain where she lived half of her life to ask the few people who were still alive about what they remembered of her. I had never seen this village or her home, but when I arrived, all the images that I had built in my mind as a child listening to her stories came to life. This film became a personal journey tracing my grandmother's identity and the immigrant identity of my family.
