Synopsis:
This short film, made up of three vignettes, takes place in an outpatient clinic for the mentally ill where art therapy classes are led by a young, educated, intelligent woman named Melissa Johnson.
As she reveals to us the details of a callous healthcare system, she also reveals her own personal strength in the small deeds she offers. Melissa uses art to empower and educate the people she works with, but behind her accomplished appearance there are difficulties in her own life that reveal the deeper complexities of both her and her clients' situation. Finding herself on the verge of homelessness, she ends up in the position of those she is trying to save.
