Synopsis:
"Tenzin Vasiljević" is a documentary that offers the personal story of Ivana—a single mother from Serbia who adopted a little boy from Tibet, with whom she now lives in France—as a backdrop to investigate if prejudice, not befitting a developed society, still rules our mentality and if anything has changed in the welfare system for children without parental care. In the Vasiljević family, little Tenzin has an ever tougher time, since, along with figuring out his identity and confronting the problem of who he is and who he belongs to, he also faces the issue of nurturing a different culture, tradition, and philosophy of life.
