Synopsis:
Jazz music traveled the world to reach the shores of Bombay in the 1930s. Its syncopated sound drew crowds in the cosmopolitan city, creating India's own jazz legends and giving Bombay another layer to its multicultural history. But is contemporary Bombay doing its best to choke the spaces in which the quirky and the eccentric can survive? Has it lost its ability to agree on a central melody?
