Suicide is the third leading cause of death for 15- to 19-year-olds in the United States and yet it remains a taboo subject. Gay teens are 6 times more likely to attempt suicide than their straight peers, another issue rarely discussed at school or at home. Through interviews with peers, teachers, and counselors, EVC youth producers tackle the challenging issue of teen suicide with insight and compassion.
