"Humanoids" follows a group of scientists trying to teach robots to play football. Their main interest is to develop autonomous technology that will enable robots to act by themselves, without human intervention. By observing this scientists struggles in the process of pushing the robot to become more human, "Humanoids" explores our continued desire to reproduce human characteristics within external elements and tries to understand our increasingly intimate relationship with technology as part of our social and psychological lives.
