This film is based on a 2003 research trip to textile production sites in India undertaken by a women's solidarity group and accompanied by PRINZGAU/podgorschek. This documentary explores to what extent the codes of conduct created in the West (i.e. the voluntary commitment of businesses to ecological and social causes) actually affects improvements in working conditions or whether they only serve to assuage consumers' guilt.
