Synopsis:
This documentary follows one young girl in Nicaragua whose piano playing gives her hope. Her musical training comes through Ritmo En Los Barrios, a project of Building New Hope in Granada, Nicaragua. Working with families and communities in lower-income areas in and around the city, volunteers are dedicated to providing music instruction to children to make them happier and healthier. While some parts of the program specialize in working with disabled children, the overall goal is to provide an outlet and the possibility of a better future.
