Synopsis:
Approximately half the children in Rwanda under age 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition. 7-year-old Diane was once one of those sick children. She and other children are now flourishing in school thanks to CARE's Early Childhood Development project. This project helps children receive the nutritional care and preparation they need to be successful in school and childcare support for mothers so they are better able to work and support their families.
