Synopsis:
This short observational documentary explores the all-girls school Fior di Loto in Pushkar, Rajasthan, India. We watch a new school year begin in which parents want their daughters in school for hopes of a better economic position. The girls, however, are conflicted between society's expectations of motherhood and their aspirations for higher education. As they enter adolescence, the future is unknown but one thing is for sure—girls just want to have fun.
