Synopsis:
"Caught in Paint" is a 6-minute film capturing painter/sculptor Rita Blitt painting on four by eight transparent surfaces while choreographer David Parsons and members of the Parsons Dance Company are seen in midair, through the painting, imitating the dancing lines of Blitt’s paint strokes. Lois Greenfield, who collaborated in this union of paint, dance and photography, made dynamic photographs as she, too, was being filmed. The creative sparks and positive energy of all the artists challenged the group to stretch their limits and perform magic. Quoting the Aspen Shorts Film Festival, "Creative sparks defy gravity."
