Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve| 7mins
Director: Kenneth Teo | Producer: Kenneth Teo
Focus Years: 2012 | Country: Singapore
Synopsis:
Nowadays, lands are often used to build high-rise buildings and shopping malls. Very little thought is put into the conservation of nature and wildlife. Despite being a small country, around 710 squared kilometers, Singapore has designated Sungei Buloh, a 87-ha wetland site, as a nature park. This nature park serves its goals in conservation, education, recreation and research to the public. Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve was also recognized as an important site for migratory birds. My documentary goal is to film these beautiful scenery and wildlife to convey the conservation message; only through conservation can our next generations enjoy all these things.
