Synopsis:
Catherine is an eight-year-old girl with origins Cimbric (the Cimbri were an ancient Italian people of lumberjack). She lives with her parents in a small house among the beech trees of the great and ancient forests of Cansiglio. Catherine loves nature deeply and hence will be rewarded with an exciting surprise. The fate in store for her is the privilege of meeting a cute gnome, a creature of the "Little People", one of those beings invisible to most humans, but that which manifests the minds of the innocent, especially children.
This is a simple story, a fairy tale, but also a message for current and future generations to rediscover the value of the natural environment so that it could be respected, loved and well preserved. If Nature is fine we're fine. If Nature suffers, as is happening now because of us, every living being, visible or invisible, can only share this suffering.
