After the tsunami impacted Mentawai Island on October 26, 2010, there were a lot of donations from several local and international organizations and the government. But there are still some isolated area that did not get support, especially from government events, local or national. Nine months after the tsunami, we try to document the community conditions of 2 villages, Maonai and Tumalei. The community explains their conditions and their hopes. This film also shows the difference in the areas that had disaster education and those that did not prior to the tsunami, as well as how the local NGOs assisted the community with the recovery process.
