Synopsis:
This film is about how NGO CCR works with communities in Aceh Jaya Regency, Aceh Province, especially with farmers, increasing livelihoods and resilience through sustainable and independent techniques. Using this environmentally friendly "System of Rice Intensification" - the SRI method - farmers can continue to reduce costs, increase revenues and play an active role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions caused by burning straw and using pesticides. Also, communities will better understand disaster risk reduction and be more resilient in protecting themselves after the training received from Caritas Czech Republic.
