BETON| 8mins
Director: Yuval Yefet | Producer: Yuval Yefet
Focus Years: 2009 | Country: Israel
Synopsis:
"BETON" (Hebrew for "Concrete") explores the ever-changing Israeli landscape. Due to the urbanization process and the logic of "security needs", the public space of Israel is gradually being taken over by raw concrete. Using solely striking visuals and unsettling music, "BETON" takes us on a mesmerizing journey following this static material: from gigantic concrete columns and skyscraper skeletons to the tall separation wall.
