Synopsis:
The southeastern region of Madagascar is the proposed location for a titanium dioxide mine. The mine's main impact will be in the forested coastal zone of southeastern Madagascar, with the proposed mining path leading to clearance of approximately 70% of the remaining coastal forest fragments.
This 32 minute documentary discusses the social, economic and ecological consequences the mine will have on this region.
