Synopsis:
Among many yak milk products, they know only CHURPI and ghee. They earn Rs 1500 to Rs 2200 daily in season, around 7 months a year. They sell CHURPI for Rs 350 per kg and ghee for Rs 400 per kg. At this rate, they earn Rs 3 lakhs a year. Although there isn’t any problem in the market, neither is there any attraction of people towards it. Sherpas have been shifted from the Shailung, which is owned by government, a decade ago. Those who are there are also trying to give it up so that the relationship between Shailung and yaks is inverse.
