Synopsis:
Thai company Italian-Thai plan to build dam on Tenasserim River, southern Burma. It was grant permission from former Myanmar military regime. The plan dam site is in indigenous Karen people. It is estimate that over 13 villages will be uprooted if the dam is construction. The environment will be destroyed. The people don't want the dam. The company and the Myanmar government don't consult with the local people for their decision. The dam site also is in the arm conflict area between the government and the Burmese government.
