Synopsis:
On May 14, 2011 a diver discovers an abandoned fishing net on the ocean floor at Isla Coronados, in Mexico, just south of the US/Mexico boarder. He contacts a group that recovers ghost fishing nets and gear. The Ocean Defenders Alliance organizes a group of volunteer divers to remove the net. I was invited to document the removal.
