Orange Witness| 43mins
Director: Andrew Nisker | Producer: Andrew Nisker
Focus Years: 2012 | Country: Canada
Synopsis:
Historically, Agent Orange (herbicides 2,4-D, 2,4,5-T and TCCD) has been associated with war, but the industrial and domestic use of the chemical is a story that has yet to reach the masses, until now. Orange Witness documents the marginalized voices of people from not only Vietnam, but Canada, the United States and New Zealand as well, whose lives have been changed after being exposed to Agent Orange. Eyewitnesses speak of the long term impact that the use of Agent Orange has had on their health and the environment where they live. As the story unfolds, the enormity of the issues and blatant inaction of governments is evident.
