We feel the greatest hope for fundamental change starts with the foundation for the future -- our youth -- so the Food Fight team combined music and film with a school curriculum, to help teachers engage students on the most pressing issues we face, in a unique way. Food Fight follows a kid on a journey through his homicidal food reality. The local corner store is killing his neighborhood -- literally. From a Morpheus-like guide, he learns the reality behind the food he's buying, and must decide to take the Orange Carrot Pill or the Red Bull Pill. Film Summary 1 A boy must choose between life and death -- vegetables or Red Bulls -- in a new music video cross between Boyz N' The Hood and The Matrix. Summary 2 Sent by his mom to a local corner store for groceries, a boy gets caught in the middle of a deadly food fight between cereal mascots of the corporate food system and the neighborhood that decides to fight for their health. Summary 3 The boy witnesses an unusual murder during a convenience-store stickup, where the hoodlums wear business suits, use Hot Cheetos as their weapon, and instead of stealing cash, they yank out healthy foods to replace them with cheap processed alternatives that are slowly destroying the boy's body, community and planet. Soon on the run, with killer food mascots hot on his tail, the boy sees junk food killing people on the streets left and right, literally, until he arrives at a classic western standoff -- an all out Food Fight between the status quo food machine and members of his community who have had enough. Which will he choose -- the Red Bull or the vegetable?
