Synopsis:
Humanity is burning fossil fuels, and thereby emitting greenhouse gases (GHG) that are radically warming the atmosphere. A warmer climate brings us extreme weather, the atmosphere on GHG steroids! Loss of life and health costs are rising rapidly, and property destruction has already accelerated by a factor of 4 to 5! This does not have to happen. Fixing climate change is possible, workable, affordable; more affordable than fossil fuels. Climate Change: DO THE MATH! is a brief preview of our education work communicating (1) recent climate change impacts on humanity, and (2) a comparison of the cost of addressing climate change as defined in the Stern report compared to the costs we currently incur every year by contining to use fossil fuels.
