Synopsis:
In the outskirts of Bodø, Northern Norway, out in the forest, there's a place called Gopia. It's the home of two young individuals living in cabins built on their own. Built out of materials other have discarded as waste, and the same goes for the food they are eating. The film tells the story of Freja and Muhammed as we follow them on their journey from temperate Spain to chilly Northern Norway, where they decided to settle down. This is a story that proves that in Norway, one can live very well on the waste of today's consumer society. Made during a documentary course at Nordland College of Art and Film winter/spring 2010. Music by RuMuJo and Freja Vind.
