Synopsis:
The wild Pacific Salmon are threatened with extinction. Dams and over fishing have decimated their numbers, misuse of our forests have destroyed their habitat. In Last Chance for the Pacific Salmon, dramatic location photography and computer animation combine with interviews with scientists, Native Americans, fisherman, politicians and citizen activists to illustrate the dangers facing the salmon. You’ll see scientific evidence of the damage caused by road building and logging. And you’ll learn about viable solutions, from community restoration projects to political action.
