Synopsis:
A documentary made by young people in Bougainville in 2008, at a forum organised by Pacific Black Box in conjunction with local NGOs. Some of the youth involved were from the Carteret Islands, whose land is sinking under the ocean and who are being relocated on mainland Bougainville. The project aimed to give a voice to these young people about their situation and climate change.
Climate change has become one of the most serious threats to the lives and livelihoods of Pacific people. Adapting to the effects of climate change is imperative for our ultimate survival. These films depict the reality of what climate change means for our people.
