Synopsis:
Social, organic and urban farming. Environmental education and rehabilitation of marginalized people. In a few words, 'sustainable development', where the environmental, economic, social and institutional components walk together in harmony.
These are the daily challenges of the Cooperatives "Il Trattore" and "Valle dei Casali", which for years have ambitious projects in the Natural Reserve of the "Valle dei Casali", in a short walk from the centre of Rome. The two cooperatives work and believe together in alternative development and in green jobs, from the use and appreciation of organic farming and urban farm, to the organic catering services, from the maintenance of green gardening, to environmental education for children and psycho-social rehabilitation and re-entry to employment of people with disabilities.
