Synopsis:
Kalimpong could be described as a great crossroads where trade with Tibet and Nepal flourished and it also functioned as the starting point of many an expedition to Central Asia. Baghdhara (spring/fountain), located in the heart of Kalimpong town, is one of the many motifs of water abundance in the hills. But behind these prosperous natural resources of water lies a serious condition of degrading human dignity alongside a failed administration. The film projects today’s Kalimpong through these collapsed water distribution systems and attempts to understand the silence that grips the lives of the people.
