In this film, Dalston Samuels shares inspiration and wisdom about the need for all of us to work together for the conservation of our oceans.
The film begins with Dal's participation in an exchange which takes him from Antigua to Belize and Mexico to learn from other fishers about the potential for fisher led conservation and collaboration. Through Dal's eyes the successes of local fishers come alive.
The United Nations Environmental Programme has used A Fisher's Journey in various venues around the Caribbean to raise awareness of the importance of fisher participation in conservation.
