Synopsis:
"ATTAINABLE" is set in Bundelkhand, a land which has been affected by drought for many years. Bundelkhand consists of districts of Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh. The film projects community-based risk reduction initiatives to check land erosion, improvement in water availability, revival of traditional irrigation mechanism, income enhancement, organic farming, mixed cropping, functioning of grain and seed banks, micro-planning and its convergence, conservation of natural resources, etc. The initiatives are small, but can be replicated in a big way to reduce migration and improve economic conditions of the highly vulnerable community.
