Synopsis:
DOC: The United States is the only developed nation that does not guarantee health care to all its citizens, even though it spends 3 trillion dollars a year. All the other industrialized nations provide universal healthcare, for half the expenditure with better health and longer life span. The documentary is a comprehensive dissection of healthcare in America by a brain surgeon, to expose the un-integrated, profit driven commercial enterprise of medical-industrial complex perpetuated by a corrupt political system. The prescription to cure that cancer is like a bitter pill. Unless Americans accept that bitter medicine, healthcare in America will not survive.
