On the occasion of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama's talks on Creativity and Compassion at Western Connecticut State University, Drepung Gomang monks from South India create a Compassion Sand Mandala as part of a Sacred Arts Tour of the United States. The mandala was an offering of support for the Dalai Lama's belief that compassion is as simple as being genuinely concerned for others. Includes footage of its creation and dissolution, with a photo series of the Dalai Lama's talks in between, and stunning time lapse photography.
