Synopsis:
It has been 61 years since India got independence. From then we are fighting on several fronts. But we always maintain double standards when it comes to wipe out some evil social customs in our society. Bali Pratha (animals are slaughtered for religious beliefs) is one of them. Although officially it is banned by the Government. But in reality it is still going on in many parts of India. Our documentary we tried to raise this issue. In this film animals (buffaloes, goats and pigeons) are slaughtered and offered to the deity for fulfillment of wishes. Thousands of people watch these rituals. We hope that govt. And so called intellectuals of the society see this harsh reality and will take action to stop this cruelty.
