Synopsis:
Dalit, in Sanskrit means the oppressed or downtrodden. This film is the voice of the oppressed, the voice reclaiming their dignity and reiterating their identity. They present their version of the struggle to eliminate caste based discrimination and the efforts to bring about a social change and equality. It is a part of the efforts to bring together the existing Dalit movements and groups in various parts of India. The groups featuring in this film are supported by Dalit Foundation.
