A poverty stricken mother and child live in a slum area. The mother leaves the sleeping child on the mat and goes to work as a domestic helper in an upper middle class house. While the luxuriously brought up child runs away from food rejecting it, the poor child runs with stolen food due to hunger. Both of them run the race on the same unending track.
