Produced in 2008 by Internews, this documentary tell us the story after the genocide that has bereaved Rwanda in 1994 and following the FRP military victory, the defeated Hutus combatants in disarray have reorganized themselves in the nearby Congo forests, leading campaigns of squabbles and ambushes against Rwanda. From 1997, the government of Kigali started an open war against those FDLR rebels (Rwanda Liberation Front) penetrating into Rwanda. For some years, Rwanda and the international community have been hurrying the rebels to come back to their country, Rwanda. Up to now, thousands of them have come back. Some of them have spent fifteen years in the Congo forests, others are born there and have been enrolled among the combatants. Mutubo transit centre is the mandatory meeting point for all ex-combatant rebels coming back into Rwanda. We offer you to spend a day in their company, in this centre which will allow them to reintegrate their society.
