The Poem is about love itself, and the pain it often brings: ' yes, love, you deceived me, it was you, that Tendered my dejected heart to my beloved it was you!' Nikpay wrote the song 'Deceit' many years ago, when as a young heartbroken man, he found a poem by Emad Khorasani that perfectly expressed his feelings. A spellbinding fusion vocalist, and a masterful multi instrumentalist, Hamed’s passion for experimental music is embedded in his solid knowledge of fundamentals of Persian music, his innovative musical style, and his incisive interpretation of Persian poetry. These artistic attributes have enabled him to create musical paragons which are gripping and much revered by admirers of traditional, and contemporary Persian music alike. With a BA degree in music composition, he writes, arranges and performs many of his own compositions transcending the limitless boundaries of diverse genres.
