Territorian Tom E Lewis is riding a wave of success after his music video clip Warrk Warrk (Black Crow) took home the prize for best music video at the ImagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Film Festival.
Warrk Warrk (Black Crow) was released earlier this year as the first music video from the CD/DVD Muyngarnbi – Songs from Walking With Spirits, a collaboration between Directors Tom E.Lewis and Julia Morris with Wagilak dancers and Songman Roy Ashley.
Roy Ashley is a Songman, one of the keepers of the sacred legends laws and culture of Arhem land in Australia.
