Director Turk Pipkin made multiple trips to Ethiopia to chronicle A Glimmer of Hope's integrated development work providing fresh water, education, health care and economic opportunity for the people of Ethiopia. Glimmer has done 3,000 development projects directly benefiting over 2 million Ethiopians, and their work stands as a shining example of a new kind of aid that works - not charity, but an investment in the future of people in need of partnerships to create a more productive and sustainable world. Glimmer’s founders Donna and Philip Berber and their wonderful team in the U.S. and Ethiopia are shining examples a better way to remedy the problems of the developing world.
