In this film, Real Change News and Trinity United Methodist Church initiate a citywide, compassion-based conversation on ending homelessness in Seattle. Like other groups that choose to own the problem of homelessness, Trinity parishioners look to Real Change News and Real Change Organizing Project for inspiration, collaboration and specific ideas to employ and empower the homeless. For over a decade, Real Change News and the Real Change Organizing project have been creating jobs and activism opportunities for homeless people in Seattle. Join vendors, shelter residents, and activists as they reflect on: the realities and causes of homelessness; the power of existing solutions to transform lives; and the challenges and possibilities that lie ahead as Seattleites co-create the shared values of a city.
